Tom continues to follow the “swine flu” hysteria and all the fear mongering that has plagued its media coverage.  Although there are some real concerns, Tom will put the flu's threat into perspective and explain why we don't need to start slaughtering pigs and closing the borders.

The Supreme Court says the FCC can penalize even "fleeting" expletives uttered on the airwaves before 10 p.m. Do you agree? The White House has decided to release dozens of photos depicting the treatment of terror suspects at US prisons in Iraq and Afghanistan during the Bush administration.  Will they be as incriminating as some liberals think?  How far should our military go to extract information from those who want to hurt us? 
 
Stress Tests
Treasury Sec. Tim Geithner will give 19 banks the results of their "stress test" today.  If a lending institution doesn't have enough capital to pass the "test", it can try to raise funds, or accept aid and give the government part ownership.  Is this the government's way of forcing banks to sell their "toxic assets"?
 
Housing Turnaround?
New home sales in the U.S. dipped slightly last month, but were higher than anticipated.   And, sales of existing U.S. homes in March stayed near a four-month average.  Does this mean the housing market is starting to turn around?  Tom gives his analysis.

Credit card companies are heading to the White House today to meet with President Obama who says it's time to crackdown on what some consider deceptive practices.  But while many banks are struggling to stay afloat, should they be forced to help consumers and change their credit card policies?

The Congressional Oversight Panel is questioning Treasury Secretary "Tiny" Tim Geithner about TARP and the drop in bank lending.  Geithner also claims that there is around $110 billing remaining in TARP funds.  What’s the best way to use the remaining funds?
 
Gay Marriage Dustup
The gay marriage controversy continues between blogger Perez Hilton and Miss USA runner-up Carrie Prejean. Apparently, disagreeing with the Left instantly makes you stupid and bigoted in the eyes of the media.  Did Miss California hurt or help the gay marriage movement?
 
Online Prostitution
The case of the "Craigslist Killer” raises some interesting questions about the internet. Why are sites like Craigslist so appealing to prostitutes and their johns?  Why would so many Americans risk their own safety for an internet hookup?  Plus, has the media already convicted the Craigslist suspect?

Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner dodged questions from Katie Couric last night, but he was not shy about proclaiming his right to oust more bank CEOs.  Tom breaks down Geithner’s language (or lack of it) and how the government continues to seek more power.
 
Presidential Faux Pas?
While 19 of the G20 members hold a joint press conference, President Obama opts to hold his own press conference later in the day.  This seems to be another in a growing list of social faux pas made by our President.  Is he arrogant or simply oblivious?
 
Poor Hit Hard
