According to regulators, Bank of America may need $34B in capital.  Will the federal government soon own a big share of Bank of America too?  Also, FDIC Chair Sheila Bair says it may be time to reduce the size of banks, but some experts believe we need to consolidate financial institutions to stabilize the industry.  Should banks be made smaller or bigger?
 
High Noon
U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Arthur Gonzalez seems determined to speed up the Chrysler deal and is willing to throw dissident creditors under the bus.  He even ruled that the creditors who are trying to block the deal must reveal their identities by noon today.  Is the government’s bullying going too far?
